PEARL Summit 2025: What happened at the Evangelistas' first wealth conference

A look back at PEARL Summit 2025 in Berlin: the women who gathered, the investment and wealth topics they explored, and what we learned for the next edition.

PEARL Summit brings women who allocate capital together to talk openly about building, protecting and deploying wealth. Its first edition took place on 18 September 2025 at Pfefferberg Theater in Berlin, as part of a week that also included Female Founders Fest, Art Night and an Impact Breakfast.
We created PEARL because consequential money conversations often happen in rooms women have had too little access to. So we built a room around their decisions: how to construct a portfolio, assess different asset classes, protect wealth and decide what they want their capital to do.
Who came
Around 200 women joined us, from first-time angels to fund partners, family officers, exited founders - women deploying private capital. The mix mattered. Someone considering her first fund commitment could sit beside someone who had made several. Guests could ask what another investor’s portfolio actually looked like and have an honest conversation about the answer.
PEARL was created by Evangelistas, co-hosted by Auxxo and Sceal. Kerstin Bock hosted the stage, and Jacobia Dahm photographed the day.
What we discussed
The programme moved across four themes: investing with intention; activating and allocating capital; building and protecting financial foundations; and leading with presence.
Verena Pausder opened a conversation about investing with agency. Martina Pfeifer, Angela De Giacomo and Saskia Bruysten examined how funds fit into a portfolio, and when an angel investment, fund or fund of funds might serve a different purpose.
Other sessions explored where capital may flow next, from AI and defence to blockchain; the legal and personal events that can test a wealth plan; money in relationships; real estate; public markets; family capital; board roles; art and philanthropy. The most useful discussions gave guests questions they could take home and apply to their own decisions.
Nine founders also pitched, selected with Alena Redeker of Auxxo. Their presence connected the day’s conversations about capital to women building companies now.
The programme continued with Art Night at the studio of Tina Berning and Julio Rondo. The following morning, Ashoka hosted an Impact Breakfast.

What we learned
Guests repeatedly returned to two things in their feedback: practical detail and the quality of the conversations. They valued sessions that made a decision more concrete, whether that meant understanding a legal structure, sizing an investment or comparing a fund with a direct ticket. They also valued being able to speak candidly about money, power and responsibility with other women making those decisions.
We learned what to improve, too. Parallel sessions made some choices frustrating. Moving between venues took time. The founder pitches needed more space for questions, and a moderate follow-up for co-investment. For the next edition, we want a simpler programme that gives the masterclasses and conversations room to breathe.
PEARL is a summit, not an investment offer. The year-round Evangelistas Collective is a separate, application-based network for women actively deploying capital. Female Founders Fest brings founders and investors together around the people building companies. Each room has its own purpose.
Our next PEARL Summit is planned for 2027 in Berlin. We will announce the date and venue when they are confirmed.
